Depot Day Fall Fest

To honor National Railroad month, The Tomball Depot Plaza will feature Lionel O-scale, Z-scale and G-scale model railroads as well as fall fair attractions. The festival's attractions include carnival games, a pumpkin patch, festival foods, craft vendors, a kids zone and fall-themed activities.

Tidy Up Tomball event

Tidy Up Tomball, a nonprofit organization founded this year to address the rising waste issue in Tomball, is kicking off with a community cleanup event. Tidy Up Tomball is designed to bring community members together while maintaining a clean environment. Individuals, groups, businesses and organizations are encouraged to participate. Teams will be assigned to different areas around Tomball to pick up trash.Cooking 4 Courage

Texans United For Freedom, is holding its eighth annual barbecue cookoff to raise funds and bring awareness to veterans, active military and first responders. The event will have guest speakers, food and craft vendors, a cornhole tournament, a kids cookoff, and live and silent auctions.Second Saturday at The Depot


The Tomball Depot Plaza hosts Second Saturday with a Christmas movie favorite, “The Grinch”. Children are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy a scavenger hunt and kid-friendly activities while supplies last. Attendees should bring lawn chairs, blankets and snacks.

Annual Tomball Holiday Parade

The Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce is holding its 58th annual holiday parade presented by the Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital. The Santa beach bash themed parade will span 2 miles down West Main Street from The Depot Plaza at 201 S. Elm St. to Klein Funeral Home at 1400 W. Main St., Tomball.VFW comedy night

Families Feeding Families 2023

Families Feeding Families is holding its 13th annual event to provide a complimentary Thanksgiving meal to those in need. There will also be free haircuts, kids activities, flu shots, vision screenings for children under age 6 and goodie bags for the first 500 people in attendance.Table Thanksgiving Feast

Come to the Table is providing 800 free meals to Magnolia residents who otherwise would not have a Thanksgiving meal. The dinner includes pork loin, gravy, green beans, sweet potatoes, rolls, cobbler and drinks. There will also be live entertainment with Christian music, face painting, balloon arts and crafts, a Bible giveaway and a prayer center. Deck The Depot tree lighting

Deck the Depot Tree Lighting will have a kids zone, train rides, vendors, food and drinks, holiday music, and an appearance from Santa. Children can take a photo and write letters to Santa. After dark, the mayor will light the decorated Christmas tree.

The Magic of Christmas Parade of Lights


The Greater Magnolia Parkway Chamber of Commerce is hosting a lighted holiday parade down the streets of Magnolia. The parade lineup will start at the Magnolia Junior High School. Anyone interested in entering a float in the parade can register online. Registration is available through Nov. 10.
