Magnolia ISD has purchased land located along FM 1486 for a future school, according to a May 29 news release.

The district bought a 15.7-acre tract for a new elementary school to be located within Kresston, a 1,400-acre development located along FM 1486. Design and construction of the new elementary school will be dependent on the results of a new bond election, according to the release.
