Phase 1 of Kresston, a 1,400-acre community from Johnson Development, will include 359 homes and lot sizes that range from 40-65 feet wide, according to an April 25 news release.

According to the news release, the homebuilders for the community—which is located along FM 1486—include:

  • Chesmar Homes
  • David Weekley Homes
  • Highland Homes
  • Lennar
  • Perry Homes
  • Westin Homes

Phase 1 of the development will also include a site for a proposed Magnolia ISD school, according to the news release.

How we got here

Earlier this year, Johnson Development broke ground on the development, according to prior reporting. The land for the community was purchased in November 2022.
