Tomball Elementary School Principal Chad Schmidt will become the principal of West Elementary School—the district’s 12th elementary school—when it opens for the 2024-25 school year, according to the release.

The Juergen Road complex, which will house West Elementary, West Intermediate and West High schools, is part of TISD’s 2021 bond. The district broke ground on the property last October.
