With the 2023-24 school year underway, facility projects included in Tomball ISD's 2021 bond package are moving along. Here are the latest updates from the district.

West Intermediate School

TISD is out to bid for West Intermediate School, which is set to be located at the district’s Juergen Road complex, the district confirmed in an email.

West High School

Located on the same property as West Intermediate School, this high school is set to be bid in December.

West Elementary School

The Juergen Road complex, which will house a West Elementary, West Intermediate and West High schools, is part of TISD’s 2021 bond. The district broke ground on the property last October.

  • Size: 110,000 square feet
  • Cost: not-to-exceed $46.11 million
On Aug. 8, TISD trustees unanimously approved a $180,000 vendor contract and an almost $58,000 contract amendment for two 2021 bond projects. The contract—signed with Brooks and Sparks, Inc.—is to develop Phase 2 of the Tomball Innovation Center, while the contract amendment relates to VLK Architects’ construction of the TISD Agricultural Center.
