During its Feb. 7 regular meeting, the Tomball ISD board of trustees unanimously approved the 2024-25 instructional calendar.
“We want to meet the need of all Tomball ISD stakeholders—our students, our faculty, our community—and at the center of all that is the instructional needs for the district,” said Karen Graves, TISD director of administrative services, during a presentation at the board’s Feb. 6 workshop meeting.
In the 2024-25 school year, the first day of school will be Aug. 14, 2024, with the last day of school set for May 22, 2025.
During the first half of the school year, students will have holidays Sept. 2, Oct. 10-11, 14, Nov. 4-5, Nov. 25-29 and Dec. 23-Jan. 3. In the latter half of the school year, students will start class on Jan. 8, with holidays on Jan. 20, Feb. 14, Feb. 17, March 10-14, March 17 and April 18.
Additionally, Dec. 20 and May 22 will be early release days for all schools.
