The deadline for candidate filing for the May 7 general election closed Feb. 18, with eight candidates running for three positions in Magnolia ISD, according to candidate filings obtained from the district.
Magnolia ISD has positions 1, 2 and 3 up for election in 2022, with the incumbent for each seat running for re-election.
The last day to register to vote in the election is April 7, and early voting will be April 25-May 3, according to the Texas Secretary of State's office.
