Hwy. 249 lane closures to know in Tomball, Dec. 16-18

Drivers can expect delays along portions of Hwy. 249 in Tomball this weekend.

Drivers can expect delays along portions of Hwy. 249 in Tomball this weekend.

According to the Texas Department of Transportation, portions of Hwy. 249 are scheduled to close this weekend.

Saturday

Northbound lanes of Hwy. 249 are closed between Heidi Lane and Letz Road from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16. One alternate lane is available.
Southbound lanes of Hwy. 249 are closed between Heidi Lane and Letz Road from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16. One alternate lane is available.
The southern entrance to Lone Star College-Tomball closes permanently Saturday, Dec. 16. A new entrance opens on Jan. 5.

Sunday

One northbound lane of Hwy. 249 between Zion Road and Sentinel Oaks is closed 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17.

Monday

One middle lane northbound and southbound at Baker Drive is closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 18.
One southbound lane of Hwy. 249 between Zion Road and Sentinel Oaks is closed 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 18.
One northbound lane of Hwy. 249 between Baker Drive and Spring Creek is closed Monday, Dec. 18, to Thursday, Dec. 21, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
