The city of Magnolia has entered a Stage 2 drought, and water restrictions are in effect, according to the city’s website.
Under Stage 2 drought restrictions—which are in effect when the city reaches 60% of daily pumping capacity from its wells, according to a 2019 city ordinance—residents have designated days for watering their lawns, washing their cars and filling their pools, among other things.
The city of Magnolia previously enacted Stage 3 water restrictions in August, which were lifted Sept. 9.
