After over a year of operating The Beauty Knw How, Keisha Woodrup said she has plans to expand the business with a beauty salon located within the beauty supply store. With plans to open in July in time for the back-to-school rush, the salon will offer a variety of services.
The details
The opportunity to expand the business came about after the previous building located next door closed, Woodrup said. After tearing down the wall separating the business, The Beauty Knw How earned 300 square feet of additional space ideal for a salon.
Woodrup said the idea sparked after several clients in the area requested hair braiders and beauty services. With the salon, Woodrup plans to offer two chairs for rent and is seeking a traveling braider, a full stylist and a wave stylist.
