Terrarium officials said the plant shop reopened under new ownership on Jan. 8. Previous owner Bridget Gould gave ownership to Emily Wetegrove and her parents Johnny and Bonnie Rowe after years of serving them as customers.

“We love Terrarium and have been customers for years. We moved here to the Tomball area about four years ago,” Wetegrove said. “So we are excited about the idea of investing in our small town.”

What else?

Under the new ownership, Terrarium has plans to beautify its building with upcoming renovations, Wetegrove said.

The family-owned plant shop will be adding a terrarium bar where customers can create their own terrarium and has plans to be completed in March. In addition, Terrarium plans to hold weekly plant workshop events to promote community engagement.

The shop offers its own mix of soil and potting and repotting services. Bonnie Rowe said customers who purchase a plant and pot at the Terrarium are provided with a free potting service.
