BBQ Grill People specializes in outdoor kitchens and appliances by creating built-in grills. Amason said they also sell hundreds of other grilling accessories including gas and charcoal grills, pellets, spices and rubs, outdoor storage, grilling accessories, griddles and fireplaces.
"We feel like there's been a void out here in Magnolia," he said. "We are a local business so we wanted to give a better option to the community then what someone will find at Home Depot or Lowe's."
Amason said the busiest part of his season will start around mid-March. To gear up for summer, he said, BBQ Grill People is offering two promotions through the months of February and March including free pellet delivery to residents in Magnolia and $100 off a new pellet smoker for anyone who brings in an old grill or smoker in any condition.
As a Magnolia resident himself, Amason said he is excited to bring this new business to his hometown.
