A number of new tenants have recently announced plans to open in the Tomball Marketplace shopping center, including James Avery Jewelry and commercial and residential real estate company RE/MAX.

The center, located on the west side of FM 2920 and Hwy. 249, is home to Academy, Kohl’s, Marshalls and a number of national chain restaurants and retailers. The center is managed by Houston-based Weingarten Realty.

As the center reaches capacity on its existing space, Weingarten Realty is also planning a 10,000-square-foot retail building that will cater to restaurants, retail and medical professionals, said Marketing and Communications Director Carrie Murray. The building will be located behind Discount Tire and will open to potential tenants later this fall.

In addition to James Avery and RE/MAX, Magnolia-based Tune Up: The Manly Salon is also slated to open a second location near Buffalo Wild Wings in the center this summer as well as Beef Jerky Outlet, which currently operates over 130 stores nationwide. Amazing Lash Studio, a beauty retail shop and salon, has also signed on as a tenant and is slated to open in early June.
