The event will not be rescheduled, according to the release.
This follows the city's cancellation March 11 of the annual Honky Tonk Chili Challenge previously scheduled for March 21 as well as the cancellation of the 20th annual Tomball German Heritage Festival scheduled for March 27-29.
Mike Baxter, director of marketing and tourism for the city, previously said the city would decide June 1 whether to hold the July 4th celebration, the city's next signature festival. The city of Tomball is under a declaration of local disaster until May 20, as of publication.
Updates regarding upcoming festivals will be shared on the Tomball Texan for Fun Facebook page, according to the April 6 release.
