For the first time, the shuttle will provide daily service throughout the duration of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, including pre-rodeo events, according to a news release.
What to expect
Tickets must be purchased in advance for the service, and regular Woodlands Express tickets are not valid for the special route. Tickets are $15 per person plus service fees, and lap children age 2 and under ride free. Ticket holders, including children, receive a wristband before boarding which must be worn in order to board the bus on both legs of the trip. Departure and return tickets must be purchased separately for the same day. Here are the dates for the express service:
- Pre-rodeo: Feb. 27-March 1
- Rodeo: March 4-23
Sawdust Park and Ride is located at 701 Westridge Road, Spring, and there is no charge for parking.
