1. Kuykendahl Road turn lane construction

The contracting company Teamwork completed work to add a right-turn lane from northbound Kuykendahl Road onto eastbound Research Forest Drive as well as extend the left-turn lane from northbound Kuykendahl Road onto westbound Research Forest Drive. Work began Dec. 27 and lasted three weeks, according to Precinct 3.

2. Gosling Road bridge construction

A joint project between Harris County Precinct 3 and Montgomery County Precinct 3 created two 12-foot lanes in each direction as well as the two additional southbound lanes for a 2,100-foot bridge over Spring Creek. As of Jan. 23, all lanes were open, but officials said occasional lane closures will take place as the contractor completes seeding, striping, signage and other items, such as slope and drainage work.


Timeline: December 2021-late 2022

Cost: $9.4 million
