One road widening project is underway and another is slated to begin later this year on Gosling Road.

Gosling Road bridge

Gosling Road will be expanded to four lanes between Creekside Forest Drive and Gatewood Reserve Lane, including the Spring Creek bridge. The contract was awarded to NBG Constructors Inc. on July 20. The project will be transferred to the Harris County Engineering Department Aug. 25 to set a date to proceed with the 429-day contract following a preconstruction meeting, according to Precinct 4 Commissioner Jack Cagle's infrastructure division.

Timeline: fall-late 2022

Cost: $8.2 million (Montgomery County Precinct 3 contributing $4 million)

Gosling Road Segment 3 widening

Improvements planned by Harris County Precinct 4 include widening Gosling Road between West Rayford Road and Creekside Forest Drive as a four-lane concrete boulevard section. The project began work in June.
