Work began June 21 to replace concrete pavement and asphalt shoulder along a 500-foot stretch of eastbound Flintridge Drive east of the George Mitchell Nature Preserve, according to a news release from Montgomery County Precinct 3 Commissioner James Noack.
Flintridge Drive will be closed between Falconwing Drive and Rush Haven Drive during the project, but residents can access the preserve from the west, according to the release.
The project will take about a week to complete according to county officials. The repairs became necessary due to work The Woodlands Water Agency performed on a sanitary sewer line located underground along the shoulder, officials said.
