The Rotary Club of The Woodlands, which celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2025, marked another milestone in October with 250 gallons of blood donated to Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center through the club.

The details: The Rotary Club has hosted blood drives numerous times, and it will have a blood donation truck present at its Oct. 10 meeting, which will take place at noon at The Woodlands County Club Palmer Course Ballroom, 100 Grand Fairway, The Woodlands. The club will also welcome a speaker from the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center at the meeting.

According to a news release from the Rotary Club, the club has made about 2,000 blood donations of one pint each, and a single donation can save up to three lives.
