Angel Reach, a nonprofit in Montgomery County which helps to meet the needs of youth age 16 to 24 who have aged out of the foster care system, held a benefit April 11 featuring country music singer-songwriter Julia Cole. Cold led the event at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavlion on April 11, which also honored outgoing Executive Director Jean Radach.

What happened

Among the projects Angel Reach has spearheaded are a program to build houses for at-risk youth in Angel Reach Village in Conroe.

The new executive director, Daniel Alexander, took over the role in January.

Angel Reach also has a resale shop at 2121 Timber Lane, Conroe, as well as its programs for transitional living, mentoring and outreach.
