Leaders from the YMCA will host a town hall meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 28 in Bradley Elementary to discuss their newest facility coming to the Holcomb area.

According to Brian Jarrard, director of land development for Holcomb Properties Company, said the presentation will share conceptual designs and information about the development process for the new Holcomb Family YMCA, which is anticipated to begin construction in the Falls at Imperial Oaks area in July 2021.

Jarrard said leaders present will also take feedback and answer questions from attendees as best as possible.

"They will be using a PowerPoint presentation to show conceptual layouts and renderings, and [will] solicit feedback from the community for input on design and programming," Jarrard said.

The new branch was announced during a stakeholder meeting June 20, which presented initial concepts for the 10-acre area the facility will occupy. The facility will cost around $15 million, which will be entirely funded by donations.
