The Woodlands Area Economic Development Partnership has announced it will relocate its offices to Lake Front North, Bldg. 2, at Hughes Landing in The Woodlands, effective Aug. 1.

The move from the current offices, located at 9320 Lakeside Blvd., Ste. 200, The Woodlands, comes as a result of growth within the organization.

“We are proud to say that our organization is thriving and growing,” The Woodlands Area EDP CEO Gil Staley said in a press release. “This new space will allow us to function in a higher capacity to serve our business community and our members. To fulfill our mission within our own organization brings me great joy, and I give full credit to our board of directors and partners for supporting us in our growth.”

Membership to The Woodlands Area EDP has grown over the past 22 years, recently hitting a high of 97 members. The organization has also grown to four employees, with plans to add a fifth part-time employee at the end of the year.

The new office space will include four offices, a reception area and a 12-person conference room.

Paul Layne, president of the Central Region for The Howard Hughes Corp., said the organization is pleased to welcome The Woodlands Area EDP to Hughes Landing.

“There is a strong need for premium office space, and we are excited to be able to provide the opportunity for the EDP to expand their offices as they continue their commitment to the community,” Layne said.
