Drivers throughout the Greater Houston area can expect delays as construction work is scheduled this weekend, according to the Texas Department of Transportation and the Harris County Toll Road Authority.
- I-45 northbound main lanes between I-10 and Quitman Street will be closed daily from 5 a.m.-9 p.m. May 20 and 5 a.m.-9 p.m. May 21. Motorists will need to take I-10 eastbound to I-69 northbound to Loop 610 W. to access I-45 northbound.
- The Travis Street northbound entrance ramp to I-45 northbound will be closed daily from 5 a.m.-9 p.m. May 20 to 5 a.m.-9 p.m. May 21. Motorists will need to turn left on Commerce, left of Milam and right on Walker to access the I-45 northbound entrance ramp.
- I-10 westbound direct connector to I-45 northbound will be closed daily from 5 a.m.-9 p.m. May 20 and 5 a.m.-9 p.m. May 21. Motorists will need to take I-69 northbound to Loop 610 W. to access I-45 northbound.
- The I-10 westbound Taylor exit will be closed daily from 5 a.m.-9 p.m. May 20 and 5 a.m.-9 p.m. May 21. Motorists will need to detour to the Heights/Yale exit, turn left on Heights and turn left to the I-10 eastbound frontage round to access Taylor.
- The I-10 eastbound and westbound connector ramp to Loop 610 W. northbound will be closed from 7 p.m. May 20 to 5 a.m. May 22. Motorists will need to detour to I-610 southbound, exit Woodway and U-turn to Loop 610 northbound.
- Two inside lanes on I-10 Katy eastbound from Studemont Street to Houston Avenue will be closed from 9 p.m. May 19 to 5 a.m. May 22.
- Hwy. 290 eastbound from Tidwell to Hollister roads will be closed 9 p.m. May 19 to 1 a.m. May 21. Motorists will need to detour to the frontage road at the Tidwell exit and re-enter Hwy. 290 past Hollister Road.
- FM 1960 northbound and southbound at Hwy. 290 will be closed from 9 p.m. May 19 to 5 a.m. May 22. Motorists will need to detour to the Hwy. 290 frontage road and U-turn.
