Gordy Bunch, Brian Boniface, John Anthony Brown and Bruce Rieser have won four positions on The Woodlands Township board of directors, according to unofficial results released late Tuesday night by Montgomery County.
Bunch, the Position 1 incumbent, earned 22,209 votes compared to challenger Amy Lampman's 12,046 votes and Bob Leilich's 3,458 votes.
"So many great people came out to the polls," Bunch said during a watch party earlier in the evening. "We've been outspent and the community rallied against that ... the community came and defended us in a way we could have never imagined."
In the Position 2 race, incumbent Mike Bass earned 17,016 votes to Boniface's 17,940 votes.
Both Position 3 and Position 4 will be filled by newcomers. In the Position 3 race, Brown won with 21,212 votes compared to Stuart Schroeder's 12,186 votes. In the Position 4 race, Rieser won with 22,732 votes while Chris Grice earned 11,422 votes.
All results are unofficial until canvassed.

The Woodlands Township election results delayed
No results from Montgomery County have been released tonight. County officials have told a precinct chairman at a Residents' Advocates watch party in The Woodlands that early votes, mail-in ballots and Election Day results will all be released at the same time. However, no definitive time frame was given at press time.
"We may have a president before we have an elected township," incumbent Gordy Bunch said. "We don't have a ton of info to share."
Harris County did release results from Creekside Park, a small portion of The Woodlands. For Position 1, incumbent Gordy Bunch earned 1,409 votes, Amy Lampman earned 1,068 votes, and Bob Leilich earned 328 votes.
For Position 2, incumbent Mike Bass earned 1,784 votes and Brian Boniface earned 844 votes in Harris County. In the Position 3 race, John Anthony Brown earned 1,407 votes and Stuart Schroeder has earned 1,071 votes so far. For Position 4, Bruce Rieser earned 1,490 votes and Chris Grice earned 1,040 votes so far.

9 candidates vie to fill 4 Woodlands Township board of directors seats
Four out of nine candidates will win seats on The Woodlands Township board of directors tonight.
Three candidates are vying for the Position 1 seat on the township’s board of directors. Incumbent Gordy Bunch, who has held the position since 2012, is facing challengers Amy Lampman and Bob Leilich. Bunch is CEO, founder and president of The Woodlands Financial Group; Lampman is a Realtor in The Woodlands; and Leilich is a retired professional transportation consultant.
Incumbent Mike Bass is facing challenger Brian Boniface in the race for Position 2. Bass is a retired business consultant and Boniface is a registered nurse.
Two newcomers are vying for the Position 3 spot on the board. John Anthony Brown, a facilities supervisor at Huntsman International, will face Stuart L. Schroeder, a rail traffic controller at Union Pacific Railroad.
A newcomer to the board will also fill the Position 4 spot. Bruce Rieser, a retired airline executive who is the CEO of a consulting firm, will face banker Chris Grice.
