Missy HerndonMissy Herndon will take over as CEO and president of Interfaith of The Woodlands and Interfaith Community Clinic beginning April 1. Herndon has served as the director of programs and services for Interfaith for the last three years, and she has more than a decade of experience in the nonprofit sector. “With our new CEO, we will continue our mission to build a more loving and caring community through service as she brings her great energy and ideas that will help us grow with our community,” Interfaith board chair Ray Sanders said. Herndon has held several leadership positions in the community. She is a past president for Junior League of The Woodlands, an alumna from the Leadership Montgomery County program, and has served on the executive leadership team for The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce. The position of CEO and president opened up in January when Ann Snyder announced she would leave the role this spring after 12 years of service. Interfaith of The Woodlands is a local nonprofit that offers numerous programs and services while Interfaith Community Clinic provides basic medical and dental care and counseling and patient services for the uninsured.
