The Shenandoah Convention and Visitors Bureau and Sam Moon Group are launching a new farmers market at Metropark Square beginning April 10.
According to a press release from the Shenandoah CVB, the market is a collaboration between Metropark Square and Your Neighborhood Farmers Market Association and is expected to feature around 25 vendors.
“We wanted to collaborate with an organization that supports Texas farmers and small businesses,” Daniel Moon, vice president of Sam Moon Group, said in the release. “The event will be a wonderful source of entertainment for the community and create more access to organic products.”
The Shenandoah Farmers Market will be held on the second Saturday of each month from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. around the green space at Metropark Square. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines will be enforced, and guests must practice social distancing and wear masks while patronizing the market. Hand-sanitizing stations will be set up throughout the event. www.shenandoahtx.us
