The new Bear Branch Sprayground opened for the season March 1. The facility joins other spraygrounds throughout The Woodlands Township that are located in Sawmill Park, Shadowbend Park, Timarron Park, May Valley Park and Village Green Park The spraygrounds are open from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. from March 1 to Oct. 31.

The spraygrounds, or splash pads, feature recirculating water that is sanitized, chemically treated, and tested and monitored daily, according to the township. The sprayground sites feature whimsical designs to appeal to children.
