According to the agenda, meeting will mainly consist of an executive session to “deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee, or to hear a complaint or charge against an officer or employee." The name of the president and general manager of The Woodlands Township, Jeff Jones, is listed. Jones has served in that position since Aug. 31.
Also listed on the agenda is consideration of an agreement with Jones as well as considering the appointment of an interim president and general manager.
Members of the board or employees may be attending through videoconferencing technology, according to the agenda. Township meetings are held at 2801 Technology Forest Blvd., The Woodlands.
Director Ann K. Snyder said any public discussion of the item will be held after the closed session portion of the meeting.
