Co-owner Elizabeth Garrett opened Potteryland Studio on Sawdust Road in October. Located in Spring, The shop provides a venue to make original gifts this holiday season.
Potteryland Studio is available for classes, parties and other events, and customers can paint on pottery or canvasses.
Customers can choose from various Christmas items to paint, or customers may order personalized pottery items that are already painted.

Greg and Jo Anna Zachary opened The Oilerie in July; the store offers 29 varieties of olive oils from all over the world.
The Oilerie features olive oil from a 2,000-year-old olive tree in Italy.
The franchise is offering 20 different gift baskets this holiday season for gifting needs of all kinds, Greg Zachary said.
One Christmas gift basket features the store’s most popular extra virgin olive oil flavor, Fior Fiore, and Tomato Basil Fettuccine. Customers can add in the Parmesan Bread Dipping, Artichoke Paste and White Chocolate Covered Almonds for a complete meal.

Jen King opened Space Cadets Collection Collection on Robinson Road in 2010; the shop offers a variety of new and vintage comics as well as graphic novels and toys.
One of the collections King offers in her store is a large assortment of Pokemon collectibles and toys from Japan. The Eevee Evolution hanging plush toy is a licensed Banpresto item and is one of the many Pokemon toys available at the Oak Ridge North shop.
Space Cadets also has weekly events for Pokemon leagues and tournaments, chess club, board game nights and drop-off day camps.

Mike’s Cigar Room has been located on Hwy. 242 in Conroe for seven years. It offers a variety of cigars, lighters and accessories, plus a large humidor and a smoking lounge for customers.
Co-owner Brad Frazier said the shop offers more than 1,000 different cigar faces, and cigars can be bought individually or by the box.
One of the cigar brands offered at the cigar room is Padron cigars, which are handmade in Nicaragua. Frazier said the cigar room features cigars ranging from $1.60 to $40, and boxed discounts are also available.

New Danville Store offers products handmade by special needs adults from the New Danville community in Willis, which was founded 10 years ago.
Store owner and CEO and founder of the New Danville community Kathy Sanders opened the location in a new storefront in Market Street in June. All proceeds go back to help the adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities at New Danville.
Popular holiday gift items include baking mixes, teas, vanilla extract and bath products, Sanders said.
