A golf tournament fundraiser, a colorful fun run and a safety expo are among events planned this weekend in The Woodlands area, March 28-30. This list is not comprehensive and events are subject to change.

HPOTX Golf Tournament

Spend the day with Home Place of Texas at their first golf tournament featuring a four-person scramble and a shotgun start. All proceeds will benefit adults with developmental disabilities.

Warrior Color Run

The sixth annual event at The Woodlands Christian Academy features 5K and 1K races with music and free food. The run benefits the school's athletics and fine arts program.

Montgomery County Safety Expo

Hosted by The Shenandoah Police Department and the Conroe ISD Police Department, the Montgomery County Safety Expo is designed for first responders to share information about their agencies and jobs. The event will also include free food and music.

Waterway Nights


The free concert series in Waterway Square presents an evening of Zydeco, county and classic rock music with Bayou Junction Band. Coolers, picnic baskets, blankets and lawn chairs are permitted, but glass is prohibited. Concerts are subject to cancelation due to weather or other factors, according to The Woodlands Township.
