A free concert at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion will feature a classic rock theme, including the music of the Grateful Dead as well as music by artists who performed at the 1969 Woodstock festival such as Jimi Hendrix, The Who and Jefferson Airplane.

What to expect
In addition to a tribute to the late Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead, the opening set features arrangements of music by other artists who got their start in the 1960s.
The Woodlands Symphony Orchestra features artistic director Darryl Bayer with guest conductor/composer Lee Johnson.
