Several free concerts, a book sale and other events are planned in The Woodlands area this weekend, March 21-23. This list is not comprehensive and events are subject to change or cancellation.

Annual Friends of the Library Book Sale

The annual Friends of the Library Book Sale will feature fiction, non-fiction, cookbooks, games, DVDs and coffee-table books at the Community Center and fiction and non-fiction for children at the South Regional Library Meeting Room. There will be a $2 bag sale March 22 from 12:30-3 p.m.

Families can enjoy a classic family movie night at the Rob Fleming Recreation Center. Movie times vary based on sunset.'The Spongebob Musical'

The Woodlands Christian Church Celebratory Service



A celebratory service will be held to mark the church's coming relocation to 635 Rayford Road, Spring. After church services, the congregation will serve punch and cookies and share memories of the church's time at the North Millbend Drive location.

Waterway Nights

The free concert series in Waterway Square presents an evening of Motown and R&B music with Louis Lamb and Gentle Lamb Experience. Coolers, picnic baskets, blankets and lawn chairs are permitted, but glass is prohibited. Concerts are subject to cancelation due to weather or other factors, according to The Woodlands Township.Concert in the Park
