From community races to concerts and festivals, several community events are planned in The Woodlands from mid-April to late May. This list is not comprehensive.

Chevron Championship

The Chevron Championship is one of five major championships on the Ladies Professional Golf Association Tour. The event will feature some of the world’s most talented women athletes competing in the tour’s first major championship of the season. General admission tickets include access to tournament grounds, open seating options across the course and food and beverage options available for purchase at concessions stands.

Fashion for Freedom

Hands of Justice is holding a fundraising event to benefit programs for those who have overcome human trafficking. Guests are invited to come in their best spring outfit and enjoy food, drinks and fashion.

2024 Great Texas Birding Classic

The Great Texas Birding Classic is an annual competition held across Texas to determine which team can identify and count the most birds during a specific window of time. Residents are invited to the bird watching tournament.IronKids Fun Run


The Children's Memorial Hermann Texas 2024 IronKids Fun Run is designed for children ages 3-17 with the half-mile race offered to children ages 3-8 and a mile run for ages 5-17. The event will also include a Doggie Dash for vaccinated dogs ages 6 months and older.

Celebration of Excellence Gala

The Interfaith of The Woodlands gala, presented by Woodforest National Bank, celebrates 50 years of Interfaith and 25 years of Hometown Heroes. It is chaired by Julie and Scott Lile

Over The Edge event

Camp For All and Howard Hughes are partnering to hold the annual Over The Edge event with fundraisers rappelling over the edge of 9950 Woodloch Forest Tower, a 31-story office building. The fundraiser will benefit children and adults with challenging illnesses or special needs.Moonlight Paddle


The Riva Row Boat House is holding a moonlight paddle event with single kayaks decorated with lights to help illuminate the way. Participants can paddle out to Lake Woodlands and watch the moon rise over the water.Memorial Hermann Ironman North American Championship

Community members are invited to support athletes as they take in their ​​Ironman journeys in The Woodlands with a 2.4-mile, spectator-lined lake swim, followed by a 112-mile bike ride that traverses The Woodlands before taking on two loops on closed portions of Hardy Toll Road, and capping off with a 26.2-mile run on the Ironman circuit.

Open Water Swim Day

The Woodlands Township is offering an open water swimming practice event. Participants will be able to swim the course as much as needed during the allotted time period with the Red Cross Certified Lifeguards and The Woodlands Fire Department on-site.Spring Fine Arts Show


Market Street invites amateur and professional artists to showcase their paintings, photography, jewelry, metal works, sculptures, digital art, mixed media and other works of art at the 2024 Spring Fine Arts Show. The art show is open to the public.The Woodlands Triathlon

The Woodlands Triathlon is taking place at Northshore Park. The premier multisport event offers a beginner-friendly atmosphere and scenic courses. The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department event will feature a field of 800 participants ranging from beginners to nationally ranked triathletes and end with a party featuring live music, food and beverages.Bands and Badges Concert

The Woodlands Township invites the community to celebrate and honor public safety personnel while enjoying live music.Memorial Day in The Woodlands festival

This event pays tribute to all military service men and women who lost their lives while serving. The festival located at Town Green Park features live music, children's activities, strolling entertainment, concessions and a fireworks display.
