South Montgomery County library book sale
The South Montgomery County Friends of the Library is holding a book sale with a variety of fiction and nonfiction books as well as DVDs. There will be an assortment of children’s and young adult books. Children’s books will be in the South Regional Branch Library, in the large meeting room on the first floor. All other books will be in the Community Center.

All Ears Listening and Language Center, an organization that focuses on helping children with hearing loss learn spoken language and literacy skills, is holding an event to celebrate its 10th anniversary. The 19th Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival held by The Woodlands Arts Council, a local arts nonprofit, will benefit its microgrant and student art scholarship programs. The event will feature 200 artists’ work in mediums such as painting, woodworking, sculpture, photography, jewelry and ceramics.
