As 2023 draws to a close, several activities are planned featuring Christmas music and activities in The Woodlands area, including many events for children.

Trombone Christmas Concert

Market Street will host the Trombone Christmas Concert by The Woodlands Concert Band.Jingle Boats

The Riva Row Boat House is hosting a gift-hunting event along the lower Woodlands Waterway. After the hunt, attendees can enjoy holiday treats at the boat house. This event is recommended for those age 10 and younger. Preregistration is required.

The Woodlands Children's Museum will host a Christmas-themed marionette puppet show for children age 1 and older.

Flashlight Candy Cane Hunt


The Woodlands Township is holding a candy cane hunt for children age 5 and older. There will be prizes awarded to the candy hunters who find the “golden” candy canes. Parents must accompany their children at no charge. Preregistration is required.Hot cocoa and karaoke

Participants can enjoy a cup of hot cocoa and sing along with holiday favorites. The event also features crafts, refreshments and a photo booth. The event is for all ages, and visitors can come and go throughout the time period.

Children can pose with the snowman Olaf during photo opportunities held at 1-hour intervals beginning at 10:30 a.m. Photos are included in the price of admission to the museum.
