Get a taste of The Woodlands


Participants can enjoy a sampling of appetizers, entrees and desserts at the annual Taste of the Town event sponsored by The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce. Attend a superhero-themed prom


Mothers and sons can save the date at The Woodlands’ second annual mother-son prom night. Participants are encouraged to dress up in superhero attire while dancing to music and enjoying refreshments. Get help with taxes


Children’s Books on Wheels will launch its Super Tax Day kickoff event in partnership with the IRS. The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Solutions for Communities program provides families that have an annual income of $57,000 or less with assistance by certified IRS volunteers at various mobile sites through April 18, the deadline for filing. Services are provided in English, Spanish and other languages as needed or requested. Appointments are required. 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Free. A group art exhibit for artists of Winter Street Studios who suffered damage in a fire recently will be held featuring mixed media, sculpture, painting and other media. Residents can join the 47th annual tree giveaway in celebration of Arbor Day. Twelve different varieties of native tree seedlings will be available to choose from.
