The May 5 election will have several measures on the ballot in The Woodlands area, including the Montgomery County road bond and a Tomball ISD bond issue with four separate propositions.

  • April 22: last day to apply for ballot by mail (received, not postmarked)
  • April 29: last day of early voting
  • May 3: election day and the last day to receive ballot by mail (or May 5 if carrier envelope is postmarked by 7 p.m. at location of election)

Proposition A


The measure calls for the issuance of $480 million of bonds for the construction, maintenance and operation of paved roads.

Tomball ISD


Proposition A

The measure calls for $331.6 million for school buildings, school buses and other construction.

Proposition B

The item allocates $18 million to upgrade technology for staff and students.


Proposition C

The measure calls for $2.8 million to upgrade Tomball High School’s football stadium.

Proposition D

The item calls for $76.7 million for multiprogram activity centers at district high schools.
