With all voting precincts reporting in Harris and Montgomery counties, The Woodlands Township board incumbents Brad Bailey, Richard Franks and Linda Nelson secured re-election for a second term. Craig Eissler will be joining the board following a victory over Jamie Viteri for Position 4, replacing Kyle Watson, who did not run for re-election.

"Brad Bailey, Richard Franks and I are so honored and privileged to again be selected to serve on The Woodlands Township Board of Directors," Nelson said. "With Craig Eissler rounding out our team, we are ready to continue to protect the vision of George Mitchell and continue to stay entrenched in our community so we understand the concerns of our citizens."


"I'm honored once more that my colleagues and I were elected to lead this wonderful, special place. Thank you citizens for your confidence and continuing support," Franks said.

"I'm honored and humbled to have won this election," Eissler said. "Now the real work begins, and I'm excited to join the ranks and serve my hometown."

What's next?

The candidates will be sworn in on Nov. 19 following the official canvass of the vote.

With 81 out of 113 voting precincts reporting, The Woodlands Township incumbent candidates Brad Bailey and Richard Franks maintained their lead over challengers Dylan Gonzales and Elvin Misut, while Craig Eissler continued holding a lead over Jamie Viteri for Position 4 on the board.

According to data from Montgomery County Election Central, all three incumbents for The Woodlands Township board of directors secured re-election, including Bailey, Linda Nelson and Franks.

For Position 4, Eissler secured a large lead over Viteri to replace outgoing board member Kyle Watson, who did not run for re-election.

With unofficial early voting results released, The Woodlands Township incumbent candidates Brad Bailey and Richard Franks are leading over challengers Dylan Gonzales and Elvin Misut.

What you need to know

Both Bailey and Franks are seeking their second term on The Woodlands Township board of directors, and are leading in early voting results for Montgomery and Harris counties. Bailey and Franks represent positions 1 and 3, respectively.


Meanwhile, Craig Eissler, with 25,526 votes, holds a lead over Jamie Viteri, with 6,592 votes, for Position 4, according to early voting results released by the Montgomery County Election Central. They are vying to replace Kyle Watson, who did not run for re-election.

Linda Nelson is also seeking her second term on the board of directors for Position 2, but she is unopposed in the November general election.
