For over three decades, Don Juan Lozano has built his career around bringing people together with the help of Tex-Mex flavors. Now, alongside his twin sons Juan and Tony Lozano, he is carrying that tradition into the family's fourth Tex-Mex eatery where furniture and decor from Jalisco Mexico help give the restaurant a sense of home.
Originally founded in Spring in 2005, Mi Rancho has since expanded to Humble, Shenandoah and opened its fourth location in Spring in October 2025.

Staying local
Located in a 7,500-square-foot space, the Lozanos said, the new location was built from the ground up and seats up to 250 guests.
Guests can enjoy a quick dine-in service, an enclosed patio, catering and large party hosting. The new location is also equipped to handle high volumes of online orders so guests can enjoy their favorites at home.
The eatery recently launched a ‘Grande Box’ filled with a feast that feeds eight people ideal for large gatherings such as office lunches or family reunions.
As part of the community, Mi Rancho supports local schools through spirit nights, donating 10%-15% of sales, and hosts mariachi nights with family activities such as face painting, balloon artists, and giveaways. During mariachi nights Mi Rancho often collaborates with Mariachi Femenil Del Bosque, a local all female mariachi band.
Most recently, the eatery donated to the Christ the Good Shepherd church. For its one year anniversary, Mi Rancho has plans to hold an event on Nov. 14 featuring face painting, activities for kids and a mariachi.
