Early voting for the May 7 elections closed May 3 in Montgomery County with 19,311 ballots cast, according to the Montgomery County elections office.

Residents cast 15,322 in-person ballots across nine sites, while 3,989 ballots were cast by mail, according to the county’s election totals.

The May 7 elections include races for city council spots and mayoral seats as well as utility district elections. Additionally, two statewide propositions relating to homestead property tax exemptions are on the ballot.

The Woodlands saw the largest in-person turnout with 3,052 ballots cast over the period. Conroe and Willis followed with 2,910 and 2,250 ballots cast, respectively.

The most in-person ballots were cast on the final day of early voting, May 3, which saw 3,999 ballots cast.
