Lone Star College System announced it will be closing its buildings and postponing classes after 2 p.m. on Aug. 26 due to the projected forecast of Hurricane Laura.

According to a press release from Bill Van Rysdam, LSCS manager of media relations, classes and buildings will remain closed until Aug. 31.

Updates will be posted on the college's website, as well as its Twitter and Facebook pages.
