Melanie Bush was chosen to serve as president, Datren Williams was chosen as first vice president, and Skeeter Hubert was chosen as second vice president. “As a member of this board, my biggest asset has always been and will continue to be the commitment of all board members to put the 60,000 students first when making decisions,” Bush said. “We will continue to be unified in that commitment.” Ray Sanders was tapped to serve as board secretary, and Scott Kidd will serve as assistant secretary. The board also welcomed new trustee Scott Moore during December’s board meeting. The next regularly scheduled board of trustees meeting will take place Jan. 17, 2017.
