The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce announced Jan. 12 which restaurants would be featured at the Taste of the Town event, Jan. 18.

Presented by Planet Lincoln and Visit The Woodlands, the 32nd annual event showcases thousands of people from around South Montgomery County each year, to sample appetizers, entrees, desserts, pastries and drinks from local restaurants, caterers, bakeries delis and beverage companies.

This year’s event will take place from 4-9 p.m. at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center, 1601 Lake Robbins Drive, The Woodlands, and tickets cost $30 in advance or $35 at the door per adult or $20 in advance or $25 at the door per child age 4-10.

“Taste of the Town is a food lover’s dream,” said Meagen Korenek, director of special events at The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce, in a statement. “We are looking forward to this festive event and are thrilled to offer a variety of samples for all palettes.”

In addition to samples, the event will also feature live entertainment, photo booths and raffles. Restaurants will also compete in the “Best of Taste” competition for titles including “Best Appetizer,” “Best Entrée,” “Best Dessert” and “The 2018 Planet Lincoln People’s Choice Award.”
