The Fried Chicken & Waffle entree is the top-selling breakfast item at Hubbell & Hudson Kitchen, General Manager Austen Goodwin said.
The menu item—which is served all day for $12.50—includes a 5-ounce piece of boneless fried chicken, a Belgian waffle, two over easy eggs, organic maple syrup, powdered sugar and specialty housemade bacon jam.
“[The bacon jam] is almost like a slow-cooked bacon barbecue from the north that you would get,” Goodwin said. “It takes about 15 different ingredients to come up with that recipe, [and] it takes a couple of hours to make it as well. That’s what tops that chicken off and makes it presentable.”
Hubbell & Hudson Kitchen has been located in The Woodlands since 2010 and offers breakfast, lunch and dinner options as well as coffee, beer and wine.
