Ruggles Green, which opened a location in The Woodlands in January 2015, is a Houston-based restaurant that offers healthy options to its diners.

One popular menu item is the goat cheese salad ($11.19), which is made with mixed greens, arugula, sun-dried tomatoes, red onions, sliced portobello mushrooms, croutons, queso fresco and housemade warm bacon vinaigrette.

With an extensive gluten-free menu and an acute awareness of food allergies, the eatery aligns itself with Green Restaurant Association guidelines.
