Momentum Coffee held its soft opening in early December at 3555 Rayford Road, Ste. 10, Spring. The business offers specialty coffee and light food options. 

Co-owner Allen Leibowitz said the coffee shop is owned by himself and three other individuals. Each owner brings a background in coffee to the business; Leibowitz has taught coffee roasting and barista classes in the past.

"We're coffee people in the coffee business and we've dedicated our lives to coffee," Leibowitz said. "The three most important things for [Momentum Coffee] is having the best in class coffee, best in class service and becoming a member of the community and being all-inclusive."

Leibowitz said the menu at Momentum Coffee consists of signature and specialty coffee drinks, with espresso-based drinks being the most common options. Frozen drinks are also available along with a selection of teas. The cafe also has a limited selection of savory items, and customers can expect more food items on the menu early this year.
