Oct. 8 marked the topping out of construction on The Ritz-Carlton Residences, according to a news release from Howard Hughes, marking the point at which the building reached its full height, about a year after ground breaking took place.

Designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects, the project is slated to open in 2027, according to the release.

What to expect

The facility will be located on 8 acres, with 15,000 square feet of indoor wellness and lifestyle amenities, 3 acres of outdoor amenities and 1,200 feet of lakefront shoreline reserved for residents, according to the news release. Developers have described it as the first standalone Ritz-Carlton condominiums in Texas.
