Office, industrial and retail vacancy was up year over year in June, according to data provided by Caldwell Cos. for The Woodlands area.

In addition, although there were fewer land sales, more land acreage was sold.

There was more office and retail space available in June than in June of the previous year.

Office and retail building space was under construction, but no industrial space was being built in June.

Locally, a total of 17 buildings were under construction in office and retail sectors.

Rental rates per square foot were up in office but down in industrial sectors in June.

Year over year, the median price per square foot for land in The Woodlands area was down in 2019-20.
