Hughes Landing is a newly developed mixed-use center that is home to Restaurant Row, clothing boutiques and beauty salons all nestled on the ground level of One Lakes Edge apartments.

Willa, a Texas-based company, was founded in 2007 on the idea that mothers and daughters should be able to shop for clothing in the same store.
“What makes us unique is that we sell only three of one item: one small, one medium, one large,” Willa Boutique Manager Dana Marts said. “So you’re going to buy a dress, and you know five other girls are not going to be wearing that same dress.”
The boutique carries everything from special occasion dresses and businesswear to blue jeans and Texas-themed jewelry. The boutique can also hosts private shopping parties for its customers at no charge.

Sukaina Rajani and her brother, Muhammed, opened their newest macaron boutique last fall in Hughes Landing. It offers more than 20 unique flavors of colorful French macarons.
Rajani said the latest boutique is the third Macaron by Patisse location she and her brother have opened. Their first location is in the River Oaks community in Houston, which opened in 2013.
“The thing that sets us apart is that we also have flavor in the shells of the macaron, not just in the filling,” she said. “They are all 50 calories, and almost all are gluten-free. We sell out at the shop almost every night.”
