Montgomery County residents are now able to register for the county's free COVID-19 testing voucher program online, the county public health and hospital districts announced July 2.

The new online voucher registration is available through the Montgomery County Public Health District and Montgomery County Hospital District websites for symptomatic and asymptomatic residents. After completing a short form and receiving approval for a voucher, residents may then make an appointment at a participating testing center for free. Residents are each limited to one voucher.

The voucher program, which opened in mid-May, provides one free COVID-19 testing voucher per person for use at select testing sites throughout the county. Registration is still available over the phone as well through the county's COVID-19 call center at 936-523-5040, which operates on weekdays from 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
